Domaine Etxondoa on the AOC Irouléguy appellation is located in Ispoure at the gates of St Jean Pied de Port. Installed on 4.5 hectares since the 2020 vintage only, the vines are located on the steep slopes of the Arradoy with 30 to 45% slope! “Xut” to pronounce “Chut” meaning “slope” by necessity….

The south-facing orientation of the plot and the magnificent red sandstone terroir mark the wines with great maturity and minerality. The wines are not chaptalized, nor deacidified, or other chemical intervention. The wines are very lightly sulphated in order to maintain all the organoleptic qualities of the wine.
